DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 15, 2024) — River Bend Food Bank will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate their expansion on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM.  They are located at 4010 Kimmel Drive in Davenport, Iowa.

This expansion will allow us a more secure and accessible delivery and pick-up of food, increasing space for volunteer groups, and growing programs and services to meet the next generation of challenges for the community.

MIDWAY, KENTUCKY (July 11, 2024) — It was another highly successful spring semester in the classroom for Midway student-athletes, with 460 earning a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

To qualify, a student-athlete must hold a grade-point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for the entire semester.

Of the 460 selected, 265 were named to the Dean's List, which requires a GPA of at least 3.6, while 131 had a perfect GPA of 4.0.

BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA (July 11, 2024) — South Dakota State University announces Zoey Cathleen Ahrens of Bettendorf, Iowa, (52722) has graduated following the spring 2024 semester.

Ahrens graduated with a Bachelor of Science in SDSU's College of Education and Human Sciences.

More than 1,500 students completed all requirements for a degree and/or certificate program. Overall, students from 35 states and 24 nations graduated following the spring 2024 semester.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 11, 2024) — Augustana College announced more than 1,100 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2023-2024 spring semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.
