(DES MOINES) – Gov. Kim Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg, along with victims’ rights advocates, law enforcement members, elected county officials and legislators, launched a campaign on Monday to place a constitutional amendment creating equal rights for victims on Iowa’s ballot.

MOLINE, IL – WQPT, Quad Cities PBS begins airing WTTW’s flagship nightly newsmagazine Chicago Tonight. Chicago Tonight celebrated 30 years on the air in April 2014.  The program will air on WQPT Monday through Friday at 1:00 and 5:30 pm.

MOLINE, IL – WQPT announces its annual PBS KIDS Writers Contest empowering children in grades K-3 to celebrate creativity and build literacy skills by writing and illustrating their own stories.

Stories, which must be the original work of the child, may be non-fiction, fiction, prose or poetry. Entries, postmarked by Friday, March 30 can be dropped off at WQPT's office at Western Illinois University's riverfront campus, or mailed to WQPT, 3300 River Drive, Moline, Illinois 61265.
