Growers Using Pioneer(r) Brand Corn Hybrids Win 9 National, 191 State Titles Erie, Illinois, Jan. 23, 2018 - Paul Young of Erie, Illinois, recently won state third place in the No-Till/Strip Till Irrigated division of the 2017 National Corn Growers Association's (NCGA) Corn Yield Contest. Young won with Pioneer(r) hybrid P1197, which yielded 302.2307 bushels per acre. 

The Iowa Environmental Council (IEC) is disappointed by the passage of SF512 in the House today after only 40 minutes of debate. “Our legislature today chose a failed business-as-usual approach to cleaning up our polluted lakes and rivers”, according to IEC Executive Director Jennifer Terry. SF512 is a missed opportunity—lacking a collaborative approach to crafting legislation that protects the health and safety of Iowans.
