Des Moines, IA – Over the past few days, Treasurer Michael Fitzgerald hit the road on the Iowa Deserves Better Tour to talk to communities in Southern Iowa about the impact of the Reynolds Budget Crisis. Residents came together in concern about the serious cuts being made to critical local services to pay for Governor Reynolds and her Republicans’ Koch Brothers-written agenda.   Highlights from the latest leg of the Iowa Deserves Better tour:

Rod Blum violated House ethics rules by failing to disclose an internet company that he owns and used his Congressional staff to promote for his own benefit. The internet marketing company, Tin Moon, is raising eyebrows for helping companies hide information about FDA safety warnings from consumers, putting Iowans’ safety at risk.

ST. PETER, Minn. (February 20, 2018) - The Fall Semester Dean's List at Gustavus Adolphus College has been released. The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in December 2017.
