DES MOINES, IOWA (June 27, 2024) — The Libertarian Party of Iowa vehemently condemns the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB) June 26 decision, which grants a private company the power to seize land through eminent domain for the construction of a carbon-dioxide pipeline. This decision not only violates the property rights of Iowans but also represents a fundamental betrayal of the principle that all individuals have the right to be secure in their property.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (June 27, 2024) Nine young apprentices from the Quad Cities have spent the past several weeks writing and shooting two original short films at Augustana College as part of the Quad City Arts’ Metro Arts Youth Apprenticeship Program.
