JOHNSTON, Iowa (Sept. 18, 2017) - The Iowa Bankers Association (IBA) has elected officers and directors to serve on its 2017-18 board of directors. These leaders assumed their roles during the IBA Annual Convention, Sept. 17-19 in Des Moines. Officers for the IBA Executive Committee are as follows: * Kurt Herbrechtsmeyer, president and CEO, First Security Bank & Trust in Charles City, will be chairman of the board.

(DES MOINES) – Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation Monday allowing the transportation of overweight loads of corn, soybeans, haw, straw, silage and stover. The proclamation will expire Nov. 17, 2017.
