DAVENPORT, IA- On July 20, 2017, Casey John Blain, age 36, of Muscatine, Iowa, was sentenced by Chief United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey to 240 months in prison on the charge of Possession of Child Pornography and 240 months in prison on each of two counts of Distribution of Child Pornography announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. The three sentences will run concurrently.

Eugene and Julie Shocker, New Liberty, will be inducted into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Iowa State Fair.  This honor recognizes volunteers or staff who have made a significant contribution to the Iowa 4-H program.  The Shockers have worked on the bucket calf project for many years.  They assist the members with record keeping and set up interviews and show opportunities for the youth.  For the Shockers, two main things happen with this project.  First, young 4
