(DES MOINES) – Gov. Kim Reynolds issued the following statement Friday after meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the National Governors Association meeting in Providence, R.I.

“It was an honor to meet with Prime Minister Trudeau today to discuss the importance of trade to both Iowa and Canada’s economies.

The Iowa and Illinois departments of transportation are holding two public meetings to discuss Phase 2 of construction on the I-74 Mississippi River Bridge project. Attendees can get information on the construction schedule, road closures, what to expect during construction, environmental efforts to date, and ways to stay in the know.
