Washington, D.C.  – Congressman Dave Loebsack today announced that the City of DeWitt Fire Department will receive $133,629 in funding from the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) Program. The funding will be used to purchase breather packs and replacement parts for breather packs. Congressman Loebsack has been a longtime supporter of the AFG program.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack released the following statement today after the House passed the Fiscal Year 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which included provisions he authored. Loebsack, a former member the House Armed Services Committee, helped author three provisions that were incorporated in this year’s legislation, including language to strengthen Arsenals, modernize Ammunition Plants and also boost STEM jobs within the Department of Defense (DOD).
