MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (June 16, 2026) — In 1999, the last time the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks met in the NBA Finals, Tim Salier was in the later stages of earning a graduate degree in sports management.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (June 16, 2026) — Maggie Kate Froeschle of DeWitt, Iowa, has been named to the Deans' Commendation List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Froeschle, a senior majoring in psychology, was named to the Dean's Commendation List for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Nearly 500 students at Nebraska were named to the Commendation List for the spring semester.

TOPEKA, KANSAS (June 16, 2026) — Washburn University is pleased to announce the students in its spring 2026 graduating class. These students completed their courses for certificates, Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, and doctorate degrees — more than 1,400 total from Washburn University, Washburn University School of Law, and Washburn Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech).

ST GEORGE, UTAH (June 16, 2026) — Students at Utah Tech University demonstrated remarkable academic expertise in the spring 2026 semester, with 869 students earning President's List honors. To qualify, students had to attain a semester GPA of 3.9 or higher and complete at least fifteen credits.

Liam Ben Sadik from Bettendorf, Iowa, was among the students honored for earning a place on the President's List.

CEDAR COUNTY, IOWA (June 16, 2026) — The Community Foundation of Cedar County has awarded $150,950 to local organizations working to enhance and improve the educational, cultural, recreational, and economic environment in Cedar County.

ADELPHI, MARYLAND (June 16, 2026) — More than 20,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2026 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.
