ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 19, 2025) — The YWCA Quad Cities invites families and community members to warm up this winter at Splashing Through the Snow, a festive indoor event held at the YWCA’s Aquatic Center. This family-friendly celebration brings together holiday fun, creative activities, and aquatic adventures, all in a cozy, snow-free environment.

Guests of all ages can enjoy a variety of seasonal activities, including:

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 31, 2025) — YWCA Quad Cities will host a community canned-food drive on Saturday, November 1, 12-3PM, at its Aquatic Center.

Guests are invited to bring a minimum of two non-perishable food items per person and will receive free admission to the YWCA’s indoor aquatic center.

Attendees can enjoy the slide, lazy river, rock-climbing wall, splash area, and more.

The event is open to the public; you do not need to be a member to participate.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 8, 2025) — Get ready to make a splash this Halloween season at the YWCA Quad Cities Spooky Swim on Saturday, October 11, 4–8PM!

There will be inflatable games, fun goodies, like bloody popcorn, and a pumpkin relay race, starting at 6PM, and more at our Aquatic Center!

As part of Downtown Rock Island’s Back from the Dead celebration, guests can also take advantage of a free trolley ride, with the YWCA as a featured stop.

YWCA Quad Cities, 513 17th Street, is excited to announce a Taylor Swift-themed Sing and Swim night at the YWCA Quad Cities Aquatic Center on September 13, 5:30-7:30PM.

Guests of all ages are invited to sing their favorite T-Swift hits, swim and splash around, and make friendship bracelets.

Tickets are $13 per person.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 27, 2025) — The YWCA Quad Cities Early Learning Academy is hosting a prom for its preschool graduates, Class of 2025.

The class of fifteen is invited to come with a grown-up and dance the afternoon away on Saturday, May 31, 2-4PM.

This special event will feature a red-carpet entrance, lively music, a picture station, and delicious snacks, creating a fun and memorable send-off before the students head into kindergarten this fall.
