ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 22, 2024) Augustana College officials gathered May 14 to swear in Ryan Tone as a police officer for the Augustana College Police Department.

Augustana Police Chief Tom Phillis and Dean Wes Brooks led the ceremony, which was attended by Officer Tone’s family.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 22, 2024) — The Foundation Board approved grants of $202,000 for 35 area non-profit organizations. Moline Regional Community Foundation accepted applications for capital and program expenses.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 22, 2024) — A Quad Cities favorite is back again! River Action’s Senior Golf Cart Tours will take place this year on September 5-6, 2024. This year’s event includes a tour of the Arsenal Island taking place in the early evening allowing for a usually unseen look at the Mississippi River and the historic island.

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (May 21, 2024) — Addison Gelande, of Port Byron, Illinois, a senior at Wisconsin Lutheran College, has been named to the college's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Addison is a graduate of Riverdale Senior High School.

To be eligible for Dean's List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.
