Fulton, IL, July 13, 2017: Fulton Summer Nights continues into July! Meet us at Den Besten Park in Fulton by the windmill from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, July 13th for this FREE event. This month’s Fulton Summer Nights celebration is hosted by the Schmaling Memorial Public Library and Fulton Presbyterian Church. There will be games for the kids, a cupcake walk, food by Boy Scouts, cotton candy, ice cream & music by the River City Municipal Band.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Coast Guard will conduct a public Marine Board of Investigation hearing into the loss of the Fishing Vessel Destination, and its six crewmembers. This hearing session will focus on weather and human factors as well as the mechanical state and stability of the vessel before and during its final voyage. The National Transportation Safety Board, which conducted its own investigation, will fully participate in the Marine Board of Investigation hearings.
