Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully accepts a $15,000 grant award from the Doris & Victor Day Foundation.

This grant award will be used specifically to purchase supplies for 26 food pantries and three meal sites and fund direct services at Winnie’s Place, our emergency shelter for women, without or without children, who are homeless and/or survivors of domestic violence.

June 19, 2017 (Bettendorf, Iowa) - Rivermont Collegiate is excited to announce the completion of the long overdue lighting and video projection upgrades in the Becherer Hall auditorium. We are proud to have a nice space where students, faculty, staff and the community can come together to enjoy presentations, plays, and musical performances, not to mention, commencement exercises.

SPRINGFIELD (June 19, 2017) - Missouri State University conferred 2,651 degrees to students at its 2017 spring commencement May 19 at JQH Arena.  A total of 1,995 bachelor's degrees, 554 master's degrees, 93 doctorate degrees and nine specialist degrees were conferred.

Among those recognized were  Megan Nickles of Bettendorf, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders
