Each February, we celebrate the achievements of African-Americans in our nation’s history, including many who have hailed from Iowa. In 1986, Congress officially designated February as National Black History Month to commemorate and reflect on all that these brave men and women have accomplished.

The Davenport Public Library, with the Downtown Davenport Partnership, will celebrate African American History Month with a Third Thursday open house event. Join us February 16th from 6:00-9:00 as we celebrate the Smithsonian's A Place for All People poster exhibit, on display at the Main Library.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – University of Dubuque’s Ensemble Theatre Company will present A Doll’s House, by Henrik Ibsen and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, on Thursday, March 2, and Friday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m., as well a
