The Alliance is open to the public and is a forum for timely and educational information on flood prevention, mitigation, flood insurance, and floodplain management. DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 15, 2024) — President Amy C Novak EdD announced that Diane Murtha (’84) (’94), and Sr Mary Thomas will give the keynote addresses at the 2024 Spring graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 18. Sr Thomas will also be recognized with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree for her significant philanthropic and humanitarian efforts.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (May 15, 2024) — Quad Citizens are encouraged to ride their bicycle to the office Friday, May 17, on National Bike to Work Day.

The Rock Island Downtown Alliance and Quad Cities Bicycle Club are hosting a free breakfast for bicycle commuters 6-10AM, Friday, at Schwiebert Riverfront Park. Participants will be treated to breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and coffee from Theo’s Java Café right off the Great River Trail at the entrance to the park.
