ANKENY, IOWA (February 6, 2024) — Former Iowa Ag Secretary and Trump administration USDA leader Bill Northey has died at the age of 64. The Agribusiness Association of Iowa, where Northey was CEO, announced the news Monday.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (February 6, 2024) — Varun Vedula of Bettendorf, Iowa, has earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Vedula was among approximately 6,300 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 265th Commencement exercises December 15-16, 2023, at McCamish Pavilion.
