MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (January 10, 2024) — Late Monday night, Planned Parenthood North Central States (PPNCS) and the union member bargaining team for Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Healthcare Minnesota and Iowa reached a tentative agreement (TA) on a historic first contract for the 430 workers who voted in 2022 to form their union. Monday was the 37th bargaining session between the two sides and the final session lasted nearly fourteen hours, ending at 1AM.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (January 9, 2024) — Moline native Braden Frazelle was sworn in as an Augustana police officer January 3.

Friends and family gathered at Augustana’s Hamann Concert Hall in Bergendoff Hall for the swearing in by Vice President and Dean of Student Life Dr Wes Brooks. Dr Brooks commended Frazelle for his contributions to keeping Augustana a safe home away from home for students from all over the world.
