WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (July 5, 2023) — The Iowa Hotel and Lodging Association (IHLA) has announced that Lowell Scott, Owner/Operator of the Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport/Conference Center, has joined the advocacy group’s Board of Directors.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 5, 2023) — A new western retail store, El Encanto Boots, will celebrate a grand opening ribbon cutting in downtown Moline on Thursday, July 6. City and Renew Moline officials will be on hand to celebrate the new business, started by Carlos Rodriguez and Johana Samudio. El Encanto Boots will specialize in high-quality, western merchandise.
