ELMHURST, ILLINOIS (June 22, 2023) — Over 925 Elmhurst University students were named to the Spring 2023 Dean's List. The Dean's List is composed of students who during the term concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00). The following local students were recognized:

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 22, 2023) — Students from Bettendorf, Cedar Rapids, and Nashua-Plainfield schools took top honors at the National History Day Contest last week at the University of Maryland.

Hadley Appel, Kailin Stiles-Pena, and Addison Woelfel of Bettendorf Middle School; Raegan Reicks of Harding Middle School in Cedar Rapids; and Caleb Sinnwell of Nashua-Plainfield Junior/Senior High School medaled in their respective categories.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (June 22, 2023) — Once-in-a-lifetime experiences and new perspectives on business practices and cultures were among the highlights for 24 students who took a Monmouth College-sponsored study-abroad trip to New Zealand and Australia in May.
