ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 7, 2023) — Augustana College announced more than 1,000 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2022-23 fall semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

PELLA, IOWA (February 7, 2023) — Central College President Mark Putnam has announced the appointment of Karmen Ten Napel as vice president for student development and dean of students. Ten Napel has served as the dean of students at Morningside University in Sioux City since 2014 and as associate vice president for student life and Title IX coordinator since 2019. She begins her duties at Central Thursday, June 1.
