PELLA, IOWA (October 28, 2025)  Central College opens another exciting production season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel this Halloween weekend. Performances will be 7PM, Thursday, October 30; Friday, October 31; and Saturday, November 1, at the Kruidenier Theatre on Central's campus. A matinee performance also will be held at 2PM, Sunday, November 2.

PELLA, IOWA (July 30, 2025) — Central College just concluded its 2024-25 fiscal year on an absolute high, smashing all previous fundraising records and securing an astounding $17,715,963. This monumental achievement marks the highest level of fundraising in the college's 172-year history and comes on the heels of the exciting launch of Central's comprehensive campaign, A World of Good. The fiscal year closed June30, 2025.

PELLA, IOWA (May 21, 2025) — Central College students were recognized during the annual Scholarship Dinner for scholarships earned and applied to the 2024-25 academic year.

Brayden Alger of Davenport (52806) received the Journey Scholarship Fund and Noel Cover Scholarship. Alger is a member of the Class of 2028.

Emily Beldock of Davenport (52807) received The Little — Marshall Scholarship. Beldock is a member of the Class of 2025.

PELLA, IOWA (May 14, 2025) — Central College recognized 249 graduates during Commencement 2025 on May 10, in Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium on Central's campus.

PELLA, IOWA (May 12, 2025) — Colleen Kenney of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, is one of 24 Central College psychology students and recent alumni who presented research at the annual Midwestern Psychological Association, April 9-12, in Chicago. Kenney, a Class of 2026 Psychology major, presented “Does the Career of a Child Medical Abuse Perpetrator Impact Perceptions of the Crime's Severity?”

PELLA, IOWA (May 7, 2025) — Anna Dennis was one of 42 Central College students inducted into the college's chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success.Dennis, Class of 2027, is from Davenport.
