PELLA, IOWA (February 7, 2024) — Central College's Mock Trial Team had a successful season competing during the 2023-24 academic year.

Padriac Bozik, Davenport (52804) is an undeclared major in the Class of 2026.

PELLA, IOWA (February 1, 2024) — Central College recognized 408 students who were named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List.

The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking twelve or more graded credit hours for the semester.

PELLA, IOWA (January 5, 2024) — Andrew Cotty of Geneseo, Illinois, is one of 31 Central College students participating in the college's Career Kickstarter program January 8-12. The program allows students to explore potential career paths by participating in micro-internships.

Cotty, Central Class of 2026, is completing a micro-internship with Hopkins Roofing — Pella.

PELLA, IOWA (December 18, 2023) — Peyton Bytnar, a Biology major with the Class of 2024, presented her research "Creating Integrative Digestive and Reproductive System Labs" at the Iowa Physiological Society Meeting on December 9, 2023, held in Des Moines, Iowa.

PELLA, IOWA (November 30, 2023) — NASA and the moon landings connected curious minds at Central College as 150 prospective students attended a Scholar Day in November. These events welcomed admitted students to campus to learn about the college and to earn additional academic scholarships, up to full tuition.

Central College students completed a mission trip to Kigoma, Tanzania

PELLA, IOWA (July 24, 2023) — The joy of giving continues for the Braskamp family. In Spring 2022, seven siblings established an endowment at Central College to honor their parents — Allan and Grace Braskamp. That endowment is now spreading joy through community outreach and mission work.

PELLA, IOWA (July 20, 2023) — This summer Central College is offering a Social Justice in the City course, which introduces students to social-justice issues. During June and July, participants attend class and serve with local non-profits in Des Moines, Iowa, that are addressing social issues and working to create positive social change. This course is an opportunity for students to actively engage in learning and applying social justice.

PELLA, IOWA (July 19, 2023) — Central College announced changes to its Board of Trustees with the addition of six new members and the retirement of three individuals.

PELLA, IOWA (June 28, 2023) — The spring sports American Rivers Conference all-academic team was announced in June and 57 Central College student-athletes were honored for their academic and athletic excellence.

Lucas Wendel of Le Claire is on the Men's Golf team and earned a 3.85 GPA majoring in biology.

Layken Bytnar of Bettendorf is on the Women's track and field team and earned a 3.99 GPA majoring in biology.

Central College announces the incoming Class of 2027 scholars who received full-tuition scholarships
