PELLA, IOWA (September 19, 2022) — Liz Hurlbut of Muscatine, Iowa, Central kinesiology major and Class of 2023, completed an athletic training internship with the Quad City Steamwheelers during the spring and summer semesters. PELLA, IOWA (August 11, 2022) — Central College will launch a new strength-and-conditioning major beginning in Fall 2022. Strength and conditioning majors are a new undergraduate option to address changes in the health and wellness industry.

PELLA, IOWA (August 2, 2022) — Central College has been awarded a $35,000 grant from the US Department of State's Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for US Students (IDEAS) Program.

Central is one of 44 colleges and universities across the United States and the only college in Iowa to receive the IDEAS grant to create, expand and/or diversify American student mobility overseas in support of US foreign policy goals.
