
PELLA, IOWA (May 12, 2025) — Colleen Kenney of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, is one of 24 Central College psychology students and recent alumni who presented research at the annual Midwestern Psychological Association, April 9-12, in Chicago. Kenney, a Class of 2026 Psychology major, presented “Does the Career of a Child Medical Abuse Perpetrator Impact Perceptions of the Crime's Severity?”
The annual conference brings together students, scholars, practitioners, and professionals to share their research and connect with psychological scientists from across the Midwest and the world. Central encourages students to participate and gain valuable career-building skills and knowledge.
