Josh Duffee & his Orchestra

Josh Duffee and His Orchestra will be in performance this evening, Feb 8th, at the Col Ballroom in Davenport for the Plus 60 Club's Valentine Ball.  Ticket prices are $8 in advance (can be purchased at the Quad City Times building), or $10 at the door. 
 
The dance will go from 7pm-10:30pm, and you'll be hearing the orchestra play music from the 1920's, 30's, and 40's.  This will be a great chance to see Josh Duffee and His Orchestra change things up a bit from their normal Goldkette material, and venture into the various styles of Latin, Big Band, Swing, Dixieland, Waltzes, and more.  You won't want to miss this event!!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Luncheon

The St. Margaret's Guild will host a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Luncheon on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at Trinity Church, 19th St & 6th Ave in Rock Island.  The luncheon will run from 11am until 1:30pm.  Tickets are just $4 for adults, $2 for children and are available at the door.

Cordova Antique Show

Mark your calendar for February 9th and 10th and plan to attend the Cordova Antique Show!  The show is held annually at the Codova Civic Center just off of IL Route 84 in Cordova, Illinois.  There is always something to interest every collector including: furniture, pottery, primitives, jewelry, perfumes, silver, antique glassware, china, postcards, toys, advertising, vintage textiles, and much more.

The show hours are Saturday, February 9th, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 10th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Show admission is $2.00 and parking is free.
