MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (March 1, 2023) — A guest speaker with a considerable amount of cachet in the accounting world was on Monmouth College's campus earlier this week.

Illinois Auditor General Frank Mautino visited three Monmouth accounting classes, and the students appreciated the opportunity to hear about his career and his office's responsibilities.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 28, 2023) — The state of Iowa has selected Odyssey to administer its new Students First education savings accounts (ESAs).

Governor Kim Reynolds signed the Students First Act into law on January 24, 2023. The program will provide K-12 students who attend accredited private (non-public) schools in Iowa with educational funding equal to “per pupil” funds allocated annually to Iowa’s public schools. It goes into effect for the 2023-2024 school year.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 28, 2023) — The Monmouth College Chorale and Chamber Choir will head for the Rockies during the upcoming spring break at the western Illinois school.

The thirty-student Chorale will perform three times in Colorado, including two public performances. On their way out west, the students will sing in Lincoln, Nebraska, and they'll perform in Kansas City on their way home. All of the public performances are free and open to the public.

WICHITA, KANSAS (February 28, 2023) — Wichita State University has announced the names of more than 3500 students who were on the WSU Dean's honor roll for fall 2022.
