ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 30, 2022) — This year we will be hosting the first walk of its kind for the Quad City Community. The goal of this walk is to raise awareness to what the homeless community experiences during the brutal months of winter.

There will be a $22 Registration fee per walker. There will also be an option to raise $100 and drop the donation off by December 1 to have the registration fee waved. Visit our website to register!

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (November 29, 2022) — Christmas is less than four weeks away, and Monmouth College has the perfect gift to put area residents in the holiday spirit.

The music department's annual "Christmas at Monmouth" concert will be at 7:30PM, December 3, in the Kasch Performance Hall of Dahl Chapel and Auditorium. The event is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

ROCK ISLAND, ILINOIS (November 28, 2022) — American Red Cross volunteers responded to seven home fires in Galesburg (Illinois), Geneseo (Illinois), Oquawka (Illinois), Quincy (Illinois), Rock Island (Illinois), and Wever (Iowa) in the past week and provided assistance to seventeen individuals, through supplying them with basic items to meet immediate needs after a fire, and additional support in the form of health and mental-health services and one-on-one support.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 23, 2022) — Green, with red bow attached, sixty-gallon rain barrels are available at River Action. Diverters for the downspout come with each. Depending on the size of the downspout needed, barrels are $90 or $95 and come with a spigot to fit a garden hose.
