LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (February 9, 2022) — More than 6,700 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans' List for the Fall semester of the 2021-22 academic year.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 9, 2022) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate is encouraging every high school in Iowa to conduct a voter registration drive on Tuesday, February 22. The date coincides with the birthday of first US President George Washington and will also be “Twosday” on the numerical calendar, 2/22/22.

FINDLAY, OHIO (February 9, 2022) -- Abigail Campbell, of Silvis, Illinois (61282), has been named to the Fall 2021 Dean's List at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

ELDRIDGE, IOWA (February 8, 2022) — On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 0900 hours, the Scott County Sheriff's Office will hold a Swearing-in Ceremony at the Sheriff's Office Headquarters at 3206 South 16th Avenue in Eldridge. Paul Pridemore been hired as the newest deputy sheriff for Scott County and Jim Morrissey and Bruce Wold will be sworn in as the newest reserves.

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA (February 8, 2022) — Thomas Fitzpatrick of Davenport, Iowa, is one of the more than 650 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the Fall 2021 semester.

Gold stars are awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 grade-point average or higher. Cadets and students who achieve gold-star recognition are also placed on The Citadel's Dean's List.
