DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 16, 2020) — The Davenport Public Library is excited to announce the extensive renovation to its Main St Library at 321 Main St will begin on Monday, December 28, 2020.

For the safety of our patrons, the Main St Library will be closed to the public beginning Monday, December 28, until the renovation is finished, currently projected to be March 2021.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (December 16, 2020) — Iowa nursing facility staff and residents will see first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine arriving as soon as December 28, now that the US Food and Drug Administration has approved Pfizer's request for emergency-use authorization (EUA) and vaccine shipments are arriving in Iowa. However, that does not mean it is yet safe to visit loved ones in Iowa nursing homes this holiday season.
