APPLETON, WISCONSIN (March 10, 2020) — Nick Fahrenkrug of Davenport, Iowa, performed in "The Marriage of Figaro," a comic opera staged March 5-8 by the Lawrence Conservatory's Opera Theatre department. The production was presented over four days in Stansbury Theater at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. It featured a cast of 11, plus stage and technical crews, two rehearsal pianists, a student pit orchestra, and a 14-member chorus.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 9, 2020) — Governor Reynolds today signed a Proclamation of Disaster Emergency, activating the disaster response and recovery aspects of the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management’s Iowa Emergency Response Plan.
