BETTENDORF, IOWA (May 21, 2020) — Beginning Friday, May 22, 2020, the Family Museum will once again open its doors to the public. New guidelines have been implemented to help ensure the health and safety of Museum staff and guests.

Family Museum Reopening Guidelines:

WASHINGTON DC (May 21, 2020) – US Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced on March 20 that households in 13 new states — Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia — will soon be able to purchase food online with their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 20, 2020) — Governor Kim Reynolds signed a new proclamation continuing the Public Health Disaster Emergency. The proclamation permits summer school activities, including baseball and softball, to resume on June 1. And effective this Friday, May 22, movie theaters, zoos, aquariums, museums, and wedding-reception venues will be permitted to reopen with appropriate public health-measures in place.
