DIXON, IOWA (September 11, 2025) — On Saturday, September 13, 9-11AM, there will be a Monarch Migration Fun Run held at the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center in Dixon, Iowa. The Fun Run will benefit the Friends of the Wapsi Center.

This self-timed 5K and (New!) one-mile trail run will take you through the upland and bottomland forests and the prairies of the Wapsi River Center. There will be one wave starting at 9AM for both distances.

In this twelve-class series we will explore many aspects of conservation from learning how to identify native bumblebees and plants to building animal homes for your yard.
