2025 Bettendorf Fourth of July Festival -- July 4.

On July 4, our country's 249th birthday will be celebrated in annual style on Spruce Hills Drive (and other locales) in the 2025 Bettendorf Fourth of July Festival, a day and evening jam-packed with live music, children's activities, food and craft vendors, and more.

Throughout the day, Bettendorf Transit will provide shuttle transportation to and from the festival with stops at Bettendorf High School, Faye's Field, and Veterans Memorial Park, with shuttle service beginning at noon and ending at 9 p.m. Among the featured food vendors are: Ganzo's, Kona Ice, Lakeside Concessions, Los Amigos, Ma & Pa's Kettle Korn, Peking Foods, Steve's Meat Shop, Success on Wheels, and Westmoreland Concessions, Inc., while the craft vendors include H & M Sublimation and Laser Creation.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 2025 4th of July Festival Kid Zone, guests pay $1 each or $10 for 12 tickets (cash or credit accepted), the attractions including Miller's Petting Zoo (1 feed cup = 1 ticket) and Miller's Zoo Choo Train (1 ride = 3 tickets). Jumpin Joey's inflatable obstacle courses, water slides, bounce houses and games will be available (1, 2, or 3 tickets), while Quad Cities magician T.J. Regul will be strolling throughout the festival performing magic tricks and making balloon animals. Police & fire vehicles will be on display, and at the Middle Park Lagoon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the festival hosts the Optimist Kids Fishing Derby with prizes awarded. Bring your own fishing pole if you have one, though some will be available on-site, and hot dogs, chips, and lemonade will be provided for all participants.

Mayor Gallagher and City Council members will serve free ice cream at the Hospitality Tent from noon until 2 p.m., and two stages of music will feature local talents throughout the day. The East Stage will boast the Scott Stowe Band (noon), the Donovan Band (2 p.m.), Barefoot Free for All (4 p.m.), CraZy Ex (6 p.m.), and Got Your Six (8 p.m.). The West Stage will feature The Hotrods (noon), Fair Warning (2 p.m.), the Dietz Soliz Band (4 p.m.), Hap Hazard (6 p.m.), and Funktastic Five (8 p.m.).

Meanwhile, Payton Paul will be singing the National Anthem to kick off the 4th of July Festival. Paul is a local vocalist who has performed at notable events such as the QC River Bandits (Red White and Boom), Belmont Mile, Arconic Jr. Bix, and many other local events. She will be a senior at Bettendorf High School in the coming fall and has been an employee of Bettendorf Parks and Recreation for three years. Paul has also been involved in choir for nine years and plans to continue singing in college, and she will be singing this year's National Anthem at the Brady Street Sprint.
