Dave Ross at the Raccoon Motel -- September 21.

Monday, September 21, 6 p.m.

Raccoon Motel, 315 East Second Street, Davenport IA

Headlining a rare standup set in Davenport – so rare that, on his Web site, the comedian states “I don't tour so much anymore!” – New York-based funnyman Dave Ross performs at the Raccoon Motel on September 21, his evening show also featuring sets by standup comic Zach Peterson, Stu Cline, and Donny Townsend.

As stated at DaveToTheRoss.com: "The year I started was 2009, and since then I’ve performed in every corner of the U.S. and some of Canada. Every joke I’ve ever told was written by me, performed by me and bombed over and over night after night in Nebraska and Alabama and everywhere else until I thought it was good enough to be part of something on this page. In other words, I’m proud of it! Please enjoy my professional bio:

"Dave Ross is a comedian in New York City. Every single person on earth likes him. He's been on the Late Late Show with James Corden, This is Not Happening, Drunk History, WTF with Marc Maron, Why Won't You Date Me? with Nicole Byer, Behind the Bastards, The Daily Zeitgeist, and many, many more. He was a New Face at Just For Laughs Montreal in 2016, and since then has been touring the country, headlining every single type of room – from a tent at Warped Tour to a theater at SXSW to The Hollywood Improv and your basement. His first album The Only Man Who Has Ever Had Sex is really, really good and that's why everybody likes him so much."

With DaveToTheRoss.com featuring numerous clips from his standup sets and segments from The Only Man Who Has Ever Had Sex, Ross states: “Digging around the internet or my webstore you may have noticed there are many many more standup releases out there than my one album. I put out my formal album that was professionally recorded and painstakingly crafted over years in 2019, and then I released a bunch of 7-inches and compilations I put together from DIY recordings because I like punk rock. The album is definitely what I send people first, but if you've consumed everything on this page and you want more, please do check them out on Bandcamp and in my shop.”

Dave Ross headlines his Davenport engagement on September 21 alongside fellow comedians Zach Peterson, Stu Cline, and Donny Townsend, admission to the 6 p.m. show is $19.84, and more information and tickets are available by visiting TheRaccoonMotel.com.
