“The Laughs & Liberty Tour" at the Adler Theatre -- June 3.

A pair of famed commentators and humorists familiar from FOX News, MTV, and the Game Show Network will blend their talents on June 3 when The Laughs & Liberty Tour makes its way to Davenport's Adler Theatre, the night boasting observations and insight from standup comedian and author Jimmy Failla and frequent news panelist and correspondent Kennedy.

Raised in Levittown, New York. Failla is a former New York City cab driver who was named "Outstanding Male Comedian of the Year" at the 2014 New York City Nightlife Awards. His one-hour standup special State of the Union is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, and he has also made multiple standup appearances on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live. The host of the syndicated FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla that also streams on Fox Nation, Radio.com, and TuneIn, the comedian and author played himself on The Jim Gaffigan Show on TV LAND, and also appears regularly on his tourmate's FOX Business Channel's Kennedy, as well as America’s Newsroom, The Greg Gutfeld Show, The Ingraham Angle, Watters World, and The Story with Marth MacCallum. Failla has also appeared on Strange Inheritance: Unpacked and Redeye, has served as spokesman for the Flipps Mobile App, and is the head writer for A-List Comedy, a national service that supplies topical humor and audio sketches to more than 200 radio stations.

A libertarian political commentator, radio personality, author, and former MTV VJ whose professional moniker is her surname, Lisa Kennedy Montgomery joined FOX Business Network as a contributor in 2012 and is the host of the primetime program Kennedy, also appearing frequently as a panelist on FOX News Channel’s Outnumbered. Prior to joining FBN, Kennedy hosted a nightly political talk show on KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles, and served as the host of Fox Reality Channel’s Reality Remix, a daily news and reality talk show. In 2002, she hosted the Game Show Network’s Friend or Foe, and also hosted Who Wants to Be Governor of California the following year. Beginning in 1992, Kennedy was a correspondent for MTV News covering events such as the Grammy and Video Music Awards, as well as a series of specials titled How-To With Kennedy. She is also the author of two books, The Kennedy Chronicles: The Golden Age of MTV Through Rose-Colored Glasses and Hey Ladies! Tales & Tips for Curious Girls, and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from UCLA.
