“Masters of Illusion" at the Adler Theatre -- November 5.

With the show based on the multi-award-winning television series that thrills viewers nationwide, the stage spectacle Masters of Illusion comes to Davenport's Adler Theatre on November 5, this evening of jaw-dropping magic combining fantasy, fervor, and flair via headlining illusionists, colorful birds, beautiful dancers, and hysterical comedy.

The Masters of Illusion series has now been a TV sensation for more than a quarter-century. Its first season, which featured illusionists on the grand stage at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, was broadcast on Pax TV from 2000 to 2001, after which MyNetworkTV aired a second season in 2009. In 2012, four syndicated episodes were broadcast before the series was revived by the CW in 2014, with Dean Cain as host. Since then, The network has continued to renew the show, with the 14th season of Masters of Illusion having premiered on January 24, 2025.

Four special talents are currently performing with the Masters of Illusion tour. Anna Dangerous is an expert in precision crossbow, whips, knife throwing, and quick change. She has won the golden buzzer on America’s Got Talent, and is known for her daring performances that leave audiences on the edge of their seats. With more than a decade of experience, and based in Las Vegas, Anna Dangerous has performed all over the world and has become a household name in the entertainment industry. Greg Gleason is one of the busiest and most in demand magicians in the world, his shows having taken him to 106 countries. He has been seen on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, WGN, CW, and Global News, and has starred in five seasons of Masters of Illusion on the CW. Gleason was also featured on the CW series Don’t Blink, and his first national appearance was in 1994 on the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Joel Meyers has appeared on shows including America’s Got Talent, FakeOff, Masters of Illusion, and Penn & Teller Fool Us, and has been featured in Newsweek, Us Weekly, and People. Headlining private performances for such celebrities as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, and Jennifer Lopez, Meyers has toured more than 50 countries, and his belief that nothing is impossible shines through in every one of his captivating performances. And Naathan Phan blends magic, singing, comedy, vocal mimicry, acting, improv, writing, and storytelling into one unforgettable performance. He is a graduate of the Orange County School of the Arts and member of SAG-AFTRA, Global League of Magicians and Mentalists, and the Academy of Magical Arts – the organization inhabiting the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, where he is a frequent performer and strolling magic champion.
