Illinois Man Claims Top Prize in ‘Bonus Crossword’ Scratch Game

CLIVE, Iowa – A $30,000-winning Iowa Lottery scratch ticket was sold in Bettendorf.

Michael Herman of Sherrard, Ill. claimed the 33rd of 65 top prizes of $30,000 available in the lottery’s “Bonus Crossword” scratch game.

Herman claimed his prize Friday at the lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids. He purchased his winning ticket at Express Lane, 3718 State St. in Bettendorf.

Bonus Crossword is a $3 scratch game. More details about how to play this game, and number of prizes still up for grabs in it can be found on the Iowa Lottery’s website, www.ialottery.com.
