Glenn Kass, a local public relations business owner and former executive with both the Quad City Mallards and the Quad City Steamwheelers, was recently diagnosed with inoperable esophugeal cancer.  His friends and family have organized a June 17 benefit from 5-8 p.m. at the Barrel House in Moline, to raise funds for his children.
