Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Saturday, 5/7/2016 — Benz Beerfest is back for its 12th year and counting! The local craft beer scene is booming - new national brands are arriving monthly, while the list of area brewpubs and breweries keeps growing. This year’s event will be the largest and best yet - showcasing brews from nearly 60 breweries and distributors, proudly pouring more than 300 beers. The Strays will perform while you sample beers to your heart’s content. Should the sampling leave you hungry, food will be available for purchase. Come enjoy a beautiful afternoon in downtown Cedar Rapids with great live music, while drinking some awesome beer and support a fantastic charity. All proceeds from this event will benefit the American Heart Association.
General admission and VIP tickets range from $25.00 - $40.00 and may be purchased in advance at Benz Beverage Depot, located on the corner of 5th Street and 7th Avenue in downtown Cedar Rapids (501 7th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 or online at www.benzbeveragedepot.com or www.benzbeerfest.com. VIP ticketholders may gain early admission to the event from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. The main event runs from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
