Since 2008, American Corporate Partners (ACP) has provided post-9/11 veterans with free, yearlong, personalized mentorships to assist with the transition from the military to the private sector. Now, IAVA is proud to be working with ACP on an important new initiative.
This spring, with the support of the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve, ACP is launching a Women's Veteran Mentoring Program open to post-9/11 servicewomen from all branches. ACP will pair women veterans with women business leaders from Fortune 500 companies for a customized mentorship experience with monthly conversations.
Whether you or someone you know are just entering the civilian workforce, or looking for advice about how to excel in your current position, an ACP mentorship can help open up networking and employment prospects. To date, 7,000 service members and veterans have completed an ACP mentorship, and 97% would recommend ACP to a fellow veteran.
To apply, visit www.acp-usa.org/mentoring. After you apply, ACP staff will reach out to you via email to set up a short phone call to discuss your background and preferences in a mentor.
IAVA's Careers Program supports veterans in all stages of their careers through tailored pathways to workplace success that connect veterans with top employers, industry experts, peer mentors and best-in-class resources. For more information, visit iava.org/careers/.
