Fulton, IL, December 2, 2016: The time has come! Fulton’s Annual Christmas Walk is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5pm-7:30pm. Events are plentiful as always as we kick off the Holiday Season in Fulton. Get into the holiday spirit in downtown Fulton! Events this year include

 

12th Annual Illuminated Christmas Run/Walk Registration at Manny’s Too beginning at 5:30pm with the race at 6:30 starting at 11th Avenue and 4th Street. At 6:00pm we challenge our Christmas Walk go-ers to participate in the Mannequin Challenge all throughout downtown Fulton. Amateur videographers are still needed. Please call the chamber if you can help. At 7:00pm join us for caroling as we light the Christmas tree on the corner of 13th Ave. & 4th Street. Festivities wrap up at 7:45pm with our 50/50 Drawing on the corner of 11th Avenue & 4th Street.

 

 

Other location specific activities include the Live Nativity by First Reformed Church & Second Reformed Church at Kustom Metal 1200 4th Street.

 

A Kettle Corn cart in downtown Fulton is sponsored by Central Bank.

 

At the Masonic Fulton City Lodge #189 there will be a Warming Station sponsored by Community State Bank offering free hot chocolate & cookies, children’s crafts are available and Christmas Caroling by the Unity Christian Choir.

 

Live Display Windows can be viewed throughout downtown Fulton.

 

Stop by Krumpet’s for a visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus.
At Denny O’s you can bid on amazing items at the Chamber Silent Auction & River Bend Athletic Boosters Festival of Trees. Children’s games will also be offered by River Bend Athletic Boosters.

 

Stop by the Robert Fulton Community Center if you crave something warm in your belly with the Boy Scout Soup Supper and enjoy toe tapping tunes by the River Bend Student Singers Center beginning at 5:45pm

 

If that’s not enough the Windmill Cultural Center will host the Morrison Madrigal singers 5:30-6:30pm, Riley Hubbart: cello instrumental music 6:30-7:30pm, Sinter Klaas, children’s activities and there is a rumor that treats will be available!

 

The celebration continues on December 3rd with Breakfast with Santa at Fulton Fire Station from 7am-10am and Christmas in the Canyon at Heritage Canyon from 12pm-7pm.
