BETTENDORF, Iowa – Dec. 30, 2015 -- Genesis Physical Therapy and Wellness will host an Open House on Jan. 9 from 1-3 p.m. with seminars and door prizes.
The new clinic location at 4017 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf is now open, offering comprehensive services with a unique approach focused on optimizing health and wellness.
Core services include physical, occupational and speech therapies, hypnotherapy, sleep education and massage therapy.
The location will be the first in the area to offer hypnotherapy in collaboration with other health care specialties. Hypnotherapy can address issues such as anxiety, habit control, insomnia, pain, weight management and various emotional conditions.
Massage therapy can be effective in relieving pain and discomfort, reducing stress, improving circulation, relaxing muscles and joints and as part of rehabilitation following injury or surgery.
Four seminars will be part of the Open House. Here is the schedule:
1 p.m. – Concussions … Not just a bump on the head
1:30 p.m. – Office Ergonomics … Stretches and Strategies to Prevent Injuries
2 p.m. – Urine Loss … Regain Control
2:30 p.m. – Wellness Through Hypnosis.
From 1:30-2:30 p.m. Quad City Mallards players will be on hand.
