Medicaid Modernization means tracking nearly 1,000 measurable health outcomes
(DES MOINES) – Today, Gov. Terry E. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds highlighted numerous measureable health outcomes designed for Medicaid patients to increase health and wellness that are now being tracked under Medicaid Modernization that were not previously under Old Medicaid. These measurable health outcomes are meant to increase patient wellness and health through risk assessments, health screenings and other preventative services.
Medicaid Modernization means more doctors than ever before serving Medicaid patients. It also means better care, more access to services, and improved accountability and oversight.
