President of the Ladies Auxiliary - Veterans of Foreign Wars, Francisca Guilford, from Anchorage, Alaska, along with Penny Hurt, State President of the Iowa VFW Auxiliary, and Travis Holden, the State VFW Commander, will be in LeClaire, Iowa to visit the Scott County Freedom Rock on April 25, 2016 about 10 a.m.
The Mayor of LeClaire, Ray Allen, will be proclaiming April 25, 2016, as “Our Veterans – Now and Forever Day” at the council meeting on April 18th and presenting the proclamation to VFW Auxiliary President Francisca Guilford at the Scott County Freedom Rock on April 25th. The Freedom Rock can be found on the south end of the Levee along the Mississippi River in LeClaire.
