DAVENPORT, IA – March 2016 –Gilda’s Club is hosting Kathy Middleton in two FREE Identity Theft workshops. A Lunch & Learn will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, with a second workshop to be held Tuesday, March 29th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Both sessions will be held at Gilda’s Club (1234 East River Drive, Davenport, IA).

Identity theft is taking the country by storm with medical identity fraud beocming more prevalent. It’s costly and can impact physicians, other providers and patients, taking months, sometimes years to be detected.

Participants will learn more about the five types of identity theft, and in so doing, learn which the largest form is. Kathy Middleton, a Business Solutions Specialist with LegalShield, thrives on helping families solve these kinds of problems. Come and learn how to get the answers you need when you need them.

This workshop will cover several frequently asked questions, including:

  • What are the 5 most common types of identity theft?

  • How can I protect myself and my family?

  • How do I know what an identity theft program will really do for me?
