Davenport, IA/October 4th, 2016 – Rudy’s Tacos, in collaboration with Bent River Brewing Company, announces the launch of “Brudy’s MPL Beer”! This month, a new beer brewed locally in the Quad Cities by Bent River and especially for Rudy’s Tacos has become available for patrons to enjoy alongside their favorite Rudy’s Tacos meal. The beer will be available at the following participating Rudy’s Tacos locations: All Davenport, Bettendorf, Eldridge, Coal Valley, East Moline and Milan locations.
Rudy’s Tacos owner Kevin Quijas says, “We are so glad we are able to work with the great team at Bent River. It only makes sense to work together and support local business collaborations like this.” Brudy’s MPL Beer now joins the ranks of the Forty–plus specially crafted and award- winning beers, Bent River brews.
“This beer can be described as a light- amber Mexican lager with a kick. It was brewed especially with Quad City beer drinkers in mind and it is sure to become a local favorite!” explains President Joel Krogman of Bent River Brewing Company.
Following a previous launch of their own variety of hot sauces, Rudy’s Tacos now adds Brudy’s MPL Beer as another specialized product they continue to offer as uniquely their own.
About Rudy’s Tacos: Rudy’s Tacos was founded in 1973 by Rudy and Marilyn Quijas. The first restaurant is located at 2214 East 11th St. in the Village of East Davenport, seated fifteen-twenty people. By 1977, the business had outgrown the tiny building, and the new larger building opened for business in the summer of 1977. Since the late 70’s, Rudy’s has grown to include eleven other locations in both Iowa and Illinois.
