Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack will join the Small Business Administration (SBA), TODAY, Friday, April 22 at 1:30pm, to present the FY 2015 Iowa SBA Top 504 Lender Award to Iowa Business Growth. Under the 504 program, SBA works with Certified Development Companies (such as Iowa Business Growth) and private-sector lenders to provide small businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing for major assets, such as land and buildings. Iowa Business Growth approved 28 SBA 504 loans for $13.8 million in FY 2015.
Loebsack will also tour Retrieval Business Systems, which is a family owned business established in 1969 that provides filing equipment and other business storage solutions. The company used the SBA 504 program through Iowa Business Growth to expand their business back in FY 2011.
