Bettendorf, IA - March 9, 2016 - Today long time Scott County resident, Rotarian and professional civil engineer Ken Beck announced his intent to run for Scott County Supervisor.
“After careful consideration I have decided to seek the office of Supervisor and represent the residents of Scott County. I feel it is the right time for me to use the experience I have gained as a consulting engineer and community business leader to make a contribution to the Board of Supervisors on behalf of all Scott County residents. I am committed to open communication and cooperation to further the development of Scott County.”
Mr. Beck has been a licensed professional engineer for 35 years specializing in geotechnical engineering, and is currently a Senior Principal for Terracon Consultants, Bettendorf, Iowa. Ken is an active member of Davenport Rotary Club, Bettendorf Presbyterian Church, and a guitarist for Rock Church of the Quad Cities & St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Ken and his wife Linda have lived in Bettendorf for over 31 years. They have a daughter, Christina of Bettendorf and son Scott of Los Angeles, CA.
