We are looking forward to a great discussion next week!

We hope that you can join us on Tuesday, October 18, from 2:00-3:30 PM at the Cedar Rapids Public Library (Beems Auditorium B) for a discussion with representatives from the Iowa Flood Center and the National Weather Service to talk about how we can work together to prepare for the next flood. And we want to hear from YOU!

The following topics will be discussed at the meeting:

-          Demonstrations from NWS and IFC on how to access and use tools and resources during a severe weather event

-          Services each organization can provide to the media during a severe weather event

-          Communication strategies

-          Open panel discussion with representatives from NWS and IFC

Please notify Breanna Shea if you plan to attend (breanna-shea@uiowa.edu, 319-384-1729). Refreshments provided!
